Day 1: Exploring the City and Waterfront
Start: Your Accomodation.Begin your day with a hearty breakfast.
Morning:
City Tour Start at Stop 1: City Hall and the Company's Garden Visit: Walk around the historic Company’s Garden, where you can explore the South African Museum and the National Gallery. You’ll also see the famous statue of Cecil Rhodes.
Activity: Take a short walk to Greenmarket Square, a lively market filled with local crafts and souvenirs.
Stop 2: Iziko South African Museum & PlanetariumIf you're interested in natural history, visit the Iziko Museum (you can use your City Pass for entry) and explore the fascinating exhibits on South Africa's cultural and natural heritage
.Lunch: Moyo at the Waterfront (Stop 16)
Enjoy a delicious African-inspired buffet lunch at Moyo, overlooking the harbor. This spot offers a vibrant atmosphere with beautiful views of the water.
Afternoon: V&A Waterfront & Two Oceans AquariumStop 16: V&A WaterfrontAfter lunch, head to the vibrant V&A Waterfront. Enjoy shopping at the various boutiques, and don’t miss the chance to visit the Two Oceans Aquarium, where you can explore marine life from both the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
Optional Stop: Robben Island TourFrom the V&A Waterfront, you can take a ferry to Robben Island (ferry tickets are included with your City Pass).
Learn about the history of South Africa's apartheid era and visit the former prison where Nelson Mandela was held for 18 years.
Evening:Return to the hotel to relax. Enjoy dinner at a nearby restaurant, at the V&A Waterfront.
Day 2: Table Mountain & Kirstenbosch Gardens

Enjoy breakfast and start your day
Morning: Table Mountain
Stop 3: Table Mountain Cableway (Stop 4 on the bus route)
Take the hop-on, hop-off bus to the Table Mountain Cableway. Use your City Pass to skip the line for tickets.
Activity: Ride the cable car to the top of Table Mountain and enjoy breathtaking 360-degree views of Cape Town, Robben Island, and the surrounding coastline.
Lunch: Lunch at the Cableway Café (at the top of Table Mountain)
Enjoy a light lunch at the café with panoramic views of the city below.
Afternoon: Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens
Stop 12: Kirstenbosch Gardens (Hop-off Stop 12)
After your Table Mountain visit, take the bus to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens. This UNESCO World Heritage site offers stunning landscapes, indigenous flora, and peaceful walking trails.
Activity: Take a leisurely walk through the gardens, visit the Tree Canopy Walkway for views of the gardens below, and relax by the tranquil ponds.
Evening:
Return to your accommodation for some rest and dinner.
Day 3: Cape Peninsula Adventure

Start your day with breakfast.
Morning: Cape Point & Boulders Beach
Stop 18: Hout Bay & Chapman’s Peak Drive
Take the bus to Hout Bay, a charming fishing village. Enjoy the scenic views along Chapman’s Peak Drive, which offers some of the most breathtaking coastal scenery in the world.
Optional Activity: Take a boat trip to see the famous Seal Island (not included with City Pass, but it’s worth it if you have time).
Stop 20: Cape Point Nature Reserve
Continue your journey to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Explore the stunning cliffs, hike to the old lighthouse, and look out for wildlife like baboons and antelope.
Lunch:
The Black Marlin Restaurant (Cape Point Area)
Enjoy lunch at The Black Marlin, a renowned restaurant that offers a variety of local seafood with amazing views of False Bay. It's a great spot for a delicious, laid-back meal.
Afternoon: Boulders Beach & Simon’s Town
Stop 18: Boulders Beach Penguin Colony
Head to Boulders Beach to see the famous African penguin colony. The beach is great for walking, and you can get up close to these adorable creatures in their natural habitat.
Stop 17: Simon’s Town
After visiting the penguins, stroll around Simon’s Town, a historic naval town. Explore the quaint shops, the naval museum, and the charming Victorian architecture.
Evening:
Return to your hotel via the hop-on, hop-off bus and relax. For your final evening, consider dining at The Test Kitchen or La Colombe, both renowned fine dining restaurants in Cape Town, for an unforgettable farewell meal.
